During the days that Flying Scotsman is running Minehead Station is closed unless you have a ticket for the trains running that day. If you want to donate books to Readers Halt during this time you will have to speak to the security people on the gate. The volunteer who is working in Readers Halt will then be told and will come to the gate to accept your donation. Sorry but Readers Halt is only accessible for passengers from the special trains that are running. We are still in need of books particularly paperback fiction but all donations gratefully received. ... See MoreSee Less
